The Hagan ULTRA Series is dedicated to lightness and speed, while maintaining reliability in challenging and technical terrain. In ’23-’24 the ULTRA Series has been completely reengineered, to create skis with better durability and downhill performance, while still shedding weight. With a double "prepack" foil made of a fiberglass and carbon mixture, in addition to a continuous top layer of carbon, we have achieved just that: even lighter skis that have improved reliability, stability and durability. No stone has been left unturned, as we even changed the composition of our top coat to a glossy finish in order to help reduce weight.

The ULTRA 79 is suitable for advanced skiers, professionals, and mountaineers training and touring in technical terrain who value weight and speed on the ascent, and control and stability on the descent.
SUITABLE FOR WHAT?
The ULTRA 79 is a 100% ascent-oriented touring ski with a center width of only 79 mm, and a weight of 940 g at 164 cm. The ski was developed specifically for fast uphill times and and tackling vertical in both piste and technical backcountry terrain.
